Yolo County news release:

(Woodland, CA) – Residents of Yolo County will continue to have additional opportunities to get tested for COVID-19 when the State-run OptumServe site moves to Davis from August 25 – September 30 and operations at Elica Health Center in West Sacramento are extended to provide testing from August 17 - 28.

  • The new OptumServe site will be situated at the Davis Senior Center, located at 646 A Street in Davis. Testing at this site is open to all California residents, regardless of documentation status, and is by appointment only Tuesdays – Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. from August 25 - September 30. Appointment slots are available by week and open the Thursday before. All ages are welcome. If residents do not have health insurance, the cost of the test will be covered by the state. If residents have health insurance, their provider will be billed with no out of pocket cost to the resident. To schedule an appointment, call: (888) 634-1123 or go online at: http://lhi.care/covidtesting.

  • Elica Health Center, located at 1276 Halyard Drive in West Sacramento, will be open for COVID-19 testing from August 17 – 28 only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Testing at this location is free and first come, first served. Participants must be residents of Yolo County and will need to bring a document displaying their name and address, such as a driver’s license, ID card, utility bill, or piece of mail. All ages are welcome. Registration is recommended in order to speed up the process but is not required and does not guarantee a test. When residents register online, they will not be able to select a time slot and will not receive a confirmation of receipt. Register at: http://www.avellinocoronatest.com/patient.

Elica Health Center open 08.17-08.28

These sites will test if residents currently have COVID-19, not for antibodies. Residents must wear a face covering and practice social distancing. These are not drive-thru testing sites, so residents will need to park their car and walk a short distance to the testing building. Test results typically come back within a week of receipt from the lab. There may be some delays in getting testing results due to high demand and backlog statewide.

Yolo County will also be hosting additional COVID-19 testing sites in September and details will be provided at a later date once all location dates and times have been confirmed.

Residents can call Yolo 2-1-1 for resource information or visit the County’s COVID-19 testing page for additional information at: http://covidtesting.yolocounty.org.
